Zoom for ACPL Programs
Resources
Ask a Librarian
If you have reference questions or concerns related to your library account, you can contact us at Ask@acpl.info. Our team of librarians is available to respond to your questions and library-related needs.
Digital Resources & Databases
Even when the library is closed, our virtual library is still available 24/7. You can check out books, audio books, music, and movies. ACPL offers a large number of titles available as e-books and audio books through Overdrive, Libby, and Hoopla. We also provide access to a large collection of music and movies through Hoopla and Freegal.
Digital Library Card
If you are an Allen County resident but don’t have a library card, we can help. You may sign up for an e-resource library card through the ACPL website. After filling out the necessary forms, new card information will be emailed to applicants within 24 hours. Once card information has been received, residents may start using ACPL’s digital library immediately.
Early Learning Resources
We know that now, more than ever, parents are looking for high-quality resources to help their children continue to learn and grow.
ACPL has created virtual story times featuring our children’s librarians, available for viewing on YouTube. Future story times will also be available on the Library’s Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube pages.
Genealogy Resources
The Genealogy Center at the Allen County Public Library is the second largest family research center in the United States. Even when the library is closed, there are so many genealogy-related resources still available to you. Here are just a few:
Our Genealogy staff is still available at Genealogy@acpl.info to answer your questions and guide you toward helpful digital resources.
The Genealogy Center’s webpage offers a variety of resources for family researchers, whether you’re in the beginning stages of your research or are more advanced in your research skills.
You can access a library of video resources created by our Genealogy staff. These brief but informative videos can be found on YouTube.
Genealogy staff will be offering programs. Those will be announced on ACPL’s Facebook page.
